The only escape artist to actually be placed in a maximum-security Posey straitjacket the proper way, i.e. arms interlinked with sleeve belts underneath both arms before going through side straps as opposed to the outside of arm, which gives slack and more mobility for escaping like many escape artist do use and Guinness Book of Records fail to realize and neither of the hands are protruding from the armpit area where this would also give slack and furthermore, the arms or sleeves of the straitjacket in the armpit areas are not enlarged for the elbow to slide through where many of the escape artist also use this method to this day. Gaffed jackets either of this design or they have a release inside the sleeves of the jacket to enable the strap of the sleeve to extend further out to gain another option to escape, which most escape artist use that claim to be escapologist and they are not.
I further enhanced this Posey straitjacket with an additional buckle in the upper back/neck region for a greater challenge as-well-as adding four additional buckles that attach to the canvas trousers to make it one piece with the straitjacket. This further reduces the ability to lift the jacket over ones head.








The Posey Transport jacket used primarily for reducing any possibility of pulling or stretching your arms outwardly, therefore disabling or having the ability to move in a way to reach any buckles in the back area of the straitjacket. You will see escape artists all over the world useing the method of gaining slack to get to the buckles in the back of the body by stretching the arms as wide as possible and maneuvering the belts around the body. With the transport jacket, this eliminates this effect.

The blanket wrapped used is primarily for keeping the body heat inside, which in itself is a challenge under extreme conditions and the chain used is to further enhance any movement within and also have the chain padlocked to the neck of the head harness. Again, making this one piece of aparatus and furthering the challenge of having to escape. All the padlocks used (9) are duct taped so that they cannot in any way be unopened. Furthermore, they are also sealed with a signature at the breakage of the tape.

Above, during "Houdenny's Insane Entrapment Escape" were the goathead thorns that cover the desert hitchhiked against Houdenny's body, which was completely unexpected and gave Houdenny more than what he bargained for.

However, Houdenny managed to still free himself useing a privilaged source; his mind, body and what he learned in the Marine Corps like: survival--evasion--resistance--escape (S.E.R.E.), which the Navy Seals go through in training and his experience as an escape artist.

Officer Isaac Hernandez of El Paso, Texas is a veteran police official who voluntarily came out of the audience by surprise to challenge Houdenny to see if any of his equipment was gaffed, faked or tampered in any way to aid in this escape attempt. Furthermore, Houdenny then challenged Mr. Hernandez that he can inspect all the aparatus before puting on him, while it was being put on and for the very first time in the history of escapology, inspect all the material used after the escape and in addition use a metal detector in the proccess.

THE GREATEST STRAITJACKETS ESCAPE

SAME SIZE, SAME MONTH OF BIRTHDAY, SAME CHARACTERISTICS, BOTH IN CIRCUS STARTED ON HALLOWEEN, HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEART WAS BESS TAYLOR and so on...DO YOU "BELIEVE"?
On October 27th 2007 Houdenny was registered to perform a miracle escape that no other escape artist ever in history could accomplish, yet in the Worldwide Escape Artist Relay (W.E.A.R. 2007), Houdenny did the unthinkable.
Houdenny successfully escaped out of a maximum Posey straitjacket covered with a Posey transport jacket, which was also covered with a Humane Restraint blanket wrap. This blanket wrap was confined to Houdenny’s body with chain and a number of combination padlocks and then those padlocks were duct taped for security purposes not to be picked in any way.
Houdenny also had a leather head harness strapped over his head and this harness was equipped with an ungaffed Darby neck collar cuff locked in the back of his neck and also attached to the straitjacket in the front of Houdenny’s body.
The Posey straitjacket used was enhanced with five additional buckles and straps. Four of these buckles were attached to their respective areas on the trousers, two in the front and two in the rear. The fifth buckle was attached to the upper extremity of the Posey straitjacket, which meant that the hole where the head comes out at of the straitjacket was much smaller than its original size, therefore reducing any possibilities for the straitjacket to come up and over Houdenny’s head.Houdenny was further restrained inside of a black body bag that surrounded all the apparatus attached to his body. This bag was also padlocked and duct taped as well.Houdenny was then hoisted 60 feet in the air by the use of a crane upside down and was shot by high-powered paintball rifles nearly 300 times from both sides of Houdenny’s body.This successful escape was first of its kind and it was called:"Houdenny's Insane Torture Entrapment".

A few of the many escapes that Houdenny has done over the years was escaping from Naha prison located in Okinawa, Japan in less than 15 minutes and was also confined in their maximum security jail with the escape taking a mere 22 seconds.
Houdenny has outsmarted sailors, police chiefs and their staff, fire department, cowboys from all over the world, the United States armed forces and many of the world’s greatest escape artists, which will not accept any of Houdenny’s wildest feats of escapology.

Even the Guinness Book of Records will not challenge Houdenny’s amazing talent when Houdenny proves to them that when record escapes are being set, Houdenny debunks their officials or adjudicating authorities every single time someone deceives them with their methods of escape. Much like the great Harry Houdini himself had done with the spiritualist movement in the 1920’s.
